Charles "Charlie" Alvin Reed, 39, of Crossville,TN. passed away Aug. 29, 1999, 
Funeral services were held Sept. 2,1999, from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral 
Home, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were Harding 
Aslinger, Jack Bohlken, Mitch Marsh, Larry Walker, Steve Akin and Randy 
McBride. 
 
He was born March 5, 1960 in Washington, DC, the son of Edward and Alva 
Lingenfelter Reed. 
Mr. Reed was a human resource manager, and he was of the Baptist faith. He was 
a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
 
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Fuhr Reed of Crossville; daughters, 
Katherine Reed of Milwaukee, WI, Erin Reed, Courtney Reed and Caitlin Reed of 
Crossville; sons, Chip Reed, Michael Caughorn, and Daniel Caughorn, all of 
Crossville; parents, Edward and Alva Reed of Springfield, VA; and siter, 
Brenda Arabadjis of East Keansburg, NJ.
 
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
