Herman Everett Reed Sr., 55, of Crossville,TN. passed away April 3, 1997, 
Funeral services were held April 5,1997, from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral 
Home with burial in Big Lick Cemtery.Larry Costner officiated with special 
music by Faye Brandon and Denice Judd Brandon. Pallbearers included Jerry 
Wood Sr., Jerry Wood Jr., Ralph Gibson, Clifford Campbell, Sam Crye 
and Jay Wood.  
 
Mr. Reed was born Feb. 21, 1942, in Cumberland County,TN. the son of 
Wilker and Ethel Lee Hale Reed. He was a machinist and member of First 
Baptist church. 
 
He is survived by his wife, Mary Reed, of Crossville; daughter Cindy LaFever 
of Cookeville; son Chip Reed of Crossville; four grandchildren; and brothers, 
Clyde Ralph Reed and Dawson Reed, both of Crossville. 
 
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
