Funeral services were conducted March 25,2000, from the chapel of Bilbrey 
Funeral Home, for Ruby Lucille Reed, 80, of Crab Orchard,TN. who passed 
away March 23, 2000, at Cumberland Medical Center,Crossville,TN. Graveside 
services were held March 26,2000, at Haley's Grove Cemetery, with Bro. Brian 
Smith and the Rev. Russell Honeycutt officiating.  
Pallbearers were Jeff Sherrill, Marvin Sherrill, Randall Sherrill, Tim 
Sherrill, Albert Sherrill and Danny Ray Sherrill.
 
Mrs. Reed was born on April 28, 1919 in Ozone, TN, the daughter of Henry 
Columbus Sturges Sr. and his wife Grace Peters Sturges. 
She was a clerk, and was of the Baptist faith.
 
Survivors include her sister, Margie Day of North Port, FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bascum (Punch) Reed; 
brother, H.C. Sturges Jr.; and sisters, Helen Holloway, Stella Mae Sturges 
and Christine Sturges.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
