Funeral services were conducted Feb. 22, 2002, at Reed's Chapel Church of God
in Grandview, for Ludie Hinch Reed, 83, of Grandview, TN, who passed away Feb.
20, 2002. Burial in Harris Cemetery. 

Bro. Donald Haggard officiated, with special music by Teresa Hinch, Janie
Holloway and Wanda Reed. Pallbearers were Freddie Rector, Michael Rector,
Kevin Rector, Lowell Rector, Don Brock and Randall McCowan.

Mrs. Reed was born Aug. 20, 1918, in Bledsoe County, TN, the daughter of Rufus
Wilburn and Anna Linda Sherrill Hinch. She was a member of Reed's Chapel
Church of God.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Reed of Grandview; daughters, Cellie
Rector and Pansy Waldo, both of Grandview, Bernice Carter of Decatur, TN, and
Viola McCowan of Kingston, TN; sisters, Cleo Edwards, Margie Godsey, Genice
Keel and Imogene Meadows; brother, Bertie Hinch of Grandview; eight
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two
step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren. Hood Funeral Home was
in charge of the arrangements.
