William M. Roysdon, 83, of Tuscaloosa, AL, passed away Jan. 20, 1999, Funeral 
services were held Jan. 23,1999, in the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral 
Home, with burial in Linary Cemetery.  Bro. Archie Howard officiated.
Pallbearers were J.D. and Robby Roysdon, Jason English, Charles McLean, Daniel 
Gibson and Floyd Stone. He was born May 10, 1916, the son of Issac Roysdon and 
Minnie Maude Nelson Roysdon.

Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Harvey Wayne Roysdon of 
Tuscaloosa, AL, and Roger and Ann Roysdon of Maryville, TN; daughters and sons-
in-law, Kay and James Whiteaker, and Faye and Terry Manning, all of 
Crossville, Opal and Randy Craig of Lenior, NC, Thelma and James Goolsby of 
Tuscaloosa, AL, and Lottie McLean of Chattanooga; and sisters, Belle Watson of 
Revlo, KY, and Mary Macel Slaven of Crossville,TN.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Stone Roysdon; sisters, Daily 
Watson, Rosie Sweet and Millie Roysdon; and brothers, Calvin, Nimrod, Hubert, 
Frank and Issac "Junior" Roysdon.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
