July 16, 1931 - July 4, 2003
 
Funeral services were conducted July 7, 2003 from the chapel 
of Bilbrey Funeral Home, for Robert "Rob" Samuel Sherrill, 71, 
of Crossville, TN. who passed away July 4, 2003. Burial  was in 
the Linary Cemetery. The Rev. Timothy Geer officiated.
Pallbearers were Clayton Waldo, John Waldo, Junior Oakes, 
Don Barnes, Buck Barnes and Mike Kirkland.
Mr. Sherrill was born July 16, 1931 in Cumberland County, TN, 
the son of Beech and Rosie Reed Sherrill.
He was a factory worker for Crossville Rubber Plant and a 
member of the Church of God. He served in the U.S. Army 
during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Barnes Sherrill of Crossville; 
sons, Sammy Sherrill Jr. and Tony Sherrill, both of Crossville; 
daughters, Carolyn Barnett and Betty Jean Sherrill, both of 
Crossville; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and 
sister, Mary Ruth Oakes of Crossville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 
brother, James "Bunk" Sherrill.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
