Gladys Irene Sherrill
July 20,1918-May 12,1997
 
Gladys Irene Sherrill, 78, formerly of Crossville,TN., passed away 
May 12, 1997 in Spring City,TN.
Funeral services were held May 14,1997, from the chapel of Bilbrey 
Funeral Home with burial in Haley's Grove Cemetery.
Bro. Don Widner officiated, with special music by Sandra Sherrill, 
Dewey Sherrill and Beatrice Cathey. 
Pallbearers were Conley Holloway, Harold Holloway, Ira Sherrill, 
Roy Turner, J.C. Hassler and Raymond Sherrill.
She was born July 20, 1918 in Crab Orchard,TN., the daughter of 
Andrew Jackson Vitatoe and Althea Sherrill Vitatoe.
Mrs. Sherrill was a merchant and a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include her daughter, June Kerley of Spring City;TN., son, 
Wayne Sherrill of Crossville,TN., and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Sherrill; sons, 
Jerry and Tommy Sherrill; and brothers Harley Vitatoe, Harold Vitatoe 
and Willard Holloway.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
