Clarence A. Sherrill

Clarence A. Sherrill, 76, of Crossville,TN., passed away Oct. 6, 1996.
Funeral services were conducted Oct. 19,1996, from the Chapel of 
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with interment at Green Acres 
Memory Gardens. Nobel Wright officiated. 
Pallbearers were Bruce England, Edwin Cope, Earnest Locklear, 
Mike Hitchcox, John Saylors, and Nick Hedgecoth.
Honorary Pallbearers were First American Home Health nursing staff 
and technician staff. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pola Sherrill and Daun 
Cordell.
Mr. Sherrill was born February 15, 1920 in Burke, Tenn. 
He was a factory worker and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Henrietta Sherrill of Crossville; daughter, 
Betty Findley of Crossville; sons, Avery Sherrill of Crossville, Bobby 
Sherrill, of Mertian, Mich., and Lindy Sherrill of Crossville; sisters, 
Gladys Sherrill of Crossville, Dorothy Hall of Michigan, Eloise Barnes 
of Michigan; brother, Baxter Sherrill of Crossville; eight grandchildren; 
and two great-grandchildren.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
