Funeral services were conducted July 30, 2002, at Reeds Chapel Church of God 
in Grandview, TN. for Otis Ross Sherrill, 77, of Grandview, TN, who passed 
away July 27, 2002.  

The  Rev.  James W.  Shannon officiating.  Burial was in Reed Cemetery in 
Grandview, TN. 

Pallbearers were Philip White, Dustin Kunkel, Donald Brock, Scott McClung, 
Carlos Wyatt and Craig Sherrill. 

Mr. Sherrill was born May 12, 1925, in Cumberland County, TN., the son of 
Quiller and Lela Mathis Sherrill. 
 
He was self-employed as a laborer in the rock quarry business, and was a 
member of Reeds Chapel Church of God. 

Survivors include his wife, Caroline Sherrill of Grandview, TN., son and 
daughter-in-law, Tim and Shirley Sherrill of Crossville, TN., daughters and 
sons-in-law, Winona Sherrill of Chattanooga, TN., Jean and Ronald Ledford of 
Piqua, OH, and Becky and Ray Cunningham of Grandview, TN., brother, Elmer 
Sherrill of North Ridgeville, OH; sisters, Alma White and Cleta Reed, both of 
Grandview, TN., and Bessie Geyer and Myrtle Webster, both of North Ridgeville; 
seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. 

Hood Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
