Funeral services were conducted April 8,2000, from the chapel 
of Bilbrey Funeral Home,for Eunice Marie Smith, 90, of Crossville, 
TN.,who passed away April 5, 2000.
Burial in Crossville City Cemetery.  Sons-in-law Phil Jenkins and 
Joe Cooper and Bro. Wade Webster officiated,with special music 
by Congregational Singing led by Charles Parsons.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, Tom Mize, Al Mize, Scott Cooper, 
David Cooper, Rip Purser and John Jenkins.
Honorary Pallbearers were her great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Smith was born on Jan. 14, 1910 in Crossville, TN.,the daughter 
of Birch L. and Minnie Bruce Wheeler. 
She was a teacher, and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son, Joe Lee Smith of Crossville,TN., three 
daughters, Miriam Jenkins and Aileen Mize, both of Crossville,TN., 
and Kathleen Cooper of Kingsport, TN; 12 grandchildren and 18 
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eston Smith; son, 
James Albert Smith; two brothers, Creed and Woodrow Wheeler; 
granddaughter, Virginia Cooper Powell; and great-grandson, 
Samuel Joseph Cooperstein.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
