Paul McClur Stevens, 72, of Crossville,TN., passed away Jan. 6, 1997. 
Funeral services were conducted Jan. 9,1997, from the chapel of 
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with interment at Crossville City 
Cemetery. Tom Farmer and Wayne Rutherford officiated.
Pallbearers were Ammie Powers, Ted Swallows, Ed Barnwell, Bob 
Hallott, Robert Champion, Jerry Perry, Johnny Ledbetter and Ed Miller.
Honorary pallbearers were the 6th District Highway Patrol.
Mr. Stevens was born May 2, 1924 in Crossville,TN. 
He was a retired lineman with the phone company. 
He was a World War II Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Hancie Boston 
Stevens.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Stevens of Crossville,TN. daughter, 
Judy F. Cauthers of Nashville,TN., son, Jackie Stevens of Crossville,
TN., two grandchildren and brother, Jack Stevens of New York.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
