William Emerson Stone, 80, of Vandever, passed away Nov. 3, 1996.
Funeral Service were conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday Nov. 6,1996, 
from the Chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home with interment at the Davis 
Cemetery. Rev. Jack Irwin officiated.
Pallbearers were Greg Ingram, Ronnie Stone, Douglas Blaylock, Jeff 
Stone, Mike Stone, and Raymond Stone.
Honorary Pallbearers were Kendall Brewer and Roy Blaylock.
Mr. Stone was born January 12, 1916 in Cumberland County,TN. to 
Ernest and Isabell Davis Stone.
He was a carpenter and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Stone and son, Jerry Stone.
Survivors include his daughters, Dorothy Boniol and Doris Shrum, both of 
Crossville,TN. sons, Edward Stone of Murfreesboro,TN., Edgar Stone 
and Larry Stone, both of Crossville,TN. nine grandchildren; seven great 
grandchildren; brothers, Waymon Stone and Ray Stone, both of Crossville,
TN. and sisters, Eva Kerley and Alma Tollett, both of Crossville,TN.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
