Funeral services were conducted Nov. 4,2004, from the chapel of Bilbrey 
Funeral Home,for Leslie Earl Warner, 80, of Crossville,TN., who passed 
away Nov. 2, 2004.
Burial in Linary Cemetery. Bro. Phil Jenkins officiated. The Veterans Honor 
Guard provided military honors of presentation of the flag, firing detail and 
"Taps" at the cemetery.
Pallbearers were Larry Warner, John Warner, Johnny Frank Warner, Ike 
Warner, J.C. Warner, Rick Sloas, Allen Smith and Robert Finley.
Mr. Warner was born July 19, 1924 in Linary,TN., the son of John Frank 
Warner and Minnie Otas Hassler Warner.
He was in business for 50 years in Crossville,TN.
He ran an auto repair business, a dealership of Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth 
trucks for a few years, then went back to selling new and used tires. 
He retired from business in April 2003. He was a veteran of World War II, 
serving in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946 and receiving the Bronze Star. 
He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was proud of his children and 
grandchildren and saw to it that they went as far as they could go in school.
Survivors include his wife, Gerldean Johnson Warner of Crossville; son and 
daughter-in-law, David and Debbie Warner of Crossville; daughters and sons-
in-law, Pat and Damon Koehl of Crossville and Terry and Dale Jacobs of 
Crossville; grandchildren, Keith and Jerry Warner, Courtney and Daniel Koehl 
and Jeremy and Annalee Jacobs; great-grandchildren, Kaley, Ansley and Mollie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bethel, 
Everett, Estel and Bobby Warner; and sisters, Dean Warner Sloas and Jean 
Warner Gilbert.
Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
