CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Jake Wyatt, 27 Jun 1997 ----¤¤¤---- Nov.10,1929-June 27,1997 Jake Wyatt, 67, of Stanley Street, Crossville,TN., passed away June 27, 1997. Funeral services for were held June 29,1997, from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Pugh Cemetery. Bro. Mark Kennedy officiated, with special music by Jerry Wyatt Pallbearers were his nephews, Dough Wyatt, Dennis Wyatt, Tony Wyatt, Perry Wyatt, D.J. Wyatt, Louis Smith, Jimmy Dixon, David Pugh and Micah Brown He was born Nov. 10, 1929 in Cumberland County,TN., the son of Henry Lee Wyatt and Myrtle Smiddie Wyatt. Mr. Wyatt was a carpenter and member of Bakers Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include brothers, Richard Simmons of Cookeville,TN., Gerald, Howard, Paul and Frank Wyatt, all of Crossville,TN., Powell and Jim Wyatt, both of Monterey, TN.,and Hank Wyatt of Detroit, MI; sisters, Betty Cox, Brenda Brown and Norma Stover, all of Crossville,TN., Sue Reed and Ann Phillips, both of Monterey,TN., Freida Carmack of Fort Mills, SC, Jeanette Sween of Port Charlotte, FL, and Judy Nakandakare of Clinton, TN; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Myrtle Wyatt, and sister, Ruth Estes.
