The graveyard is now in the public right-of-way for the interstate. Thomas Fletcher was a personal friend and confidante of President Jackson and a leader in the Nashville area. Thomas Fletcher This monument table was placed here in memory of Thomas Fletcher. He was a councilor of law in Nashville. He was survived by his devoted children. Mr. Fletcher was born in Albernacle County, Virginia, September 15, 1792, and died in Nashville, January 12, 1845. He will be forever endeared to our hearts by his ennobling virtues as a Father. We freely leave his reputation as a citizen to the community which honored his life and joined us in lamenting his untimely death. 2. Thomas Talbot from: Bendford County, Virginia born April 7, 1760 died Jan. 28, 1831 Leaving fifty descendants.
