Susan Thompson…Widow's Support…Recorded May 30, 1834

In pursuance of the enclosed order from the Worshipful County Court of Davidson
County, January Sessions 1834, we the undersigned commissioners appointed by the
said Court to lay off and set apart to Susan Thompson widow of Jason Thompson
dec'd one years support for herself and family make this our report, To wit: All
the Bacon and Lard in the Smoke house. All the peas on hand, seventy five
barrels of corn, one Barrel of brown Sugar containing two hundred pounds, fifty
pounds of Coffee, two pounds of tea, fifteen pounds of loaf sugar, two Barrels
flour, three gallons wine, all the sweet potatoes if any. two thousand bundles
of Fodder, Sixty doz. of oats, one Sack of Salt, all the dried fruit and all the
poultry on the place, one hundred pounds of Ginned cotton, Ten dollars in cash
to purchase necessaries. G.G. Washington, W.B. Gowen, M.C. Dunn, Commissioners.

Gilbert G. Washington Esquire, Wilford B. Gowen, Michael C. Dunn freeholders
appointed by an order of the preceding Court to lay off and set apart to Susan
Thompson, widow and relict of Jason Thompson deceased one years support for
herself and family out of said decedent's estate now make report of having so
done which is received and confirmed by the Court and ordered to be recorded.
