                                  Registered March 22, 1856

{Wetmore ~ } State of Tennessee Davidson Nov 28th 1855 Know all men by these 
presents that are Moses W. {To }{ Deed} Wetmore, Nathaniel E. Alloway and 
Joseph Branch and Narcissa P. Martin Executors - of the {Adams ~   } last will 
and testament of George W. Martin have this day bargained and sold and by 
these  presents do alien confirm and convey to Thomas J. Adams and James F. 
Adams of the County of Davidson a certain lot piece or parcel of ground lying 
and being in Said County about two and a half miles from the Court house. The 
said lot being that portion of the tract purchased of H. A. W. Neill by the
Said Wetmore & Alloway bargainers aforesaid & by George W. Martin the Testator 
of the Said Executors Joseph Branch & Narcissa P. Martin designated on the 
plan of Said tract or Lot No_and Bounded as follows to wit: Beginning at the 
South East of Lot No twenty four and South West Corner of Lot No 23 thence 
North Eighty nine and three fourth degrees East Eighteen poles thence North
Eightine and 58/100 poles thence West Eightine poles, thence South Eightine 
and 60/100 poles to the beg inning the Same containing two acres and fifteen 
poles. We acknowledge the receipt of valuable consider ation to __ in hand 
paid for Said lot. And the said bargainers Witmore & Alloway bind thenselves 
their heirs ~ to warrant and defend the title of the Same in and to the Said 
Thomas J. Adams & James F. Adams their heirs & assigns. And the Said Joseph 
Branch and Narcissa P. Martin in like manner but without covenant of warranty 
by virtue of the power upon them conferred by he last will & Testament of 
their Testator aforesaid do join in the conveyance & Sign and Seal the
Same for the purpose of conveying in & to the Said bargainers all the right 
title and interest that the Said George W. Martin in his lifetime had in & to 
said Lot. And further it is hereby provided that this conveyance valuates to 
the first day of October 1852 when Said Lot was Sold to the Said bargainers as 
witnessed by a title bond in the hands of Said bargainers executed to them
by the Said bargainers Wetmore, Alloway and by the Said George W. Martin in 
Testimony of all which we have hereunto Set and bound and affixed our our 
Seals this day of date above written.
