Adams } Deed To } James F. Adams } Nashville Nov. 19th 1858 I Thomas J. Adams have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey to James F. Adams and his heirs forever for the consideration of four hundred dollars in hand paid to me my entire intended interest which is my half of the following described tract of land in the State of Tennessee Davidson County and District No. 10 containing by estimation the whole tract of land two acres and 15 poles the half of which I own and do hereby transfer and sell to the said James F. Adams it being the tract that was bought by myself and James F. Adams from Moses W. Whitmore Nathaniel E. Alloway and thus bounded as follows viz.) Beginning at the south East corner of Lot no Twenty four and south West Corner of lot no 23 thence North Eighty nine and three fourths degrees East Eighteen poles thence North Eighteen & 58/100 poles thence West Eighteen poles thence South eighteen 60/100 poles to the beginning the same containing two acres and fifteen poles to have and to hold the same to the said James F. Adams his heirs and assigns forever I do covenant with the said James F. Adams that I am lawfully siezed of said land have a good right to convey it and that the same is unincumbered. I do further covenant and bind my self my heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend this title to the said land and my part thereof to the said James F Adams his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whatever this day and date above written, Witness my hand and seal.
