His name is on the 1832 list and in the 1840 Census. He was born about 1762 in Faquier County, Virginia. He served in Captain Hank Read's company, Colonel Pendleton's Virginia regiment. Note: He died in Davidson County in 1841. He married in 1782 Elizabeth Kemper. Among their children was John Morgan who married Ann W. Norman.
