Nashville Banner  clipping (date cut off) from scrapbook that belonged to her daughter, Elizabeth Goodwin Biggers.
"Beloved Woman Goes to Reward"

"Mrs. Mary [Charlotte] Goodwin Sharpe, a life-long resident of Nashville and 
daughter of the late Benjamin F. Sharpe and Anne Muirhead, pioneer citizens of 
Nashville, passed away Thursday afternoon after an illness extending over a 
year.

Mrs. Goodwin was 75 years of age and a life-long member of the Methodist 
Church. She is survived by her husband, Allen Brooks Goodwin, and by five 
daughters, Mrs. David Campbell [Eulicia Lee], Mrs. James Willoughby Biggers 
[Elizabeth], Mrs. John J. Yeaman [Emily Anne], Mrs. Frederic Bradford Young 
[Mary Charlotte], and Miss. [Nancy] Louise Goodwin."

Additional Comments:
Mary Charlotte Sharpe Goodwin is buried in the Nashville City Cemetery beside 
her parents, her husband,and her youngest daughter, Nancy Louise.
