Grizzard of the County of Davidson and State of Tennessee being of sound mind and memory but in feeble health do make and publish this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills is any made by me. First I direct that all my just debts including funeral expenses and the expenses of administration be paid by my executors. Second, During the remainder of my life the portion of my property that I desire my relations to have. I expect to hand it to them in person and all that I may die possessed of both real and personal I desire to give where I think it will do the most good and as I have been a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church for a number of years and desiring to help the cause of Christ all I can and believing as I do. I will and bequeath the remainder of my property both real and personal to the Board of Missions of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church to be used by said board where they in their judgment think it will do the most good for the cause of my Lord and master. Third, I hereby nominate and appoint my executor to this my last will. Witness my hand and seal this 27 day of February, 1896. Signed A. C. Grizzard Signed by the testator Ambros C. Grizzard, deceased was produced in open Court for probate and proven heirs A. R. Mathis and E. A. Mathis the two subscribing witnesses thereto being first duly sworn deposed and said that they became such at the request and in the presence of the testation and of each other and they truly believe he was of sound and disposing mind and memory at the time of executing the same. It is therefore ordered by the Court that said paper writing be admitted to record as the last will and testament of A. C. Grizzard, deceased.
