Grizzard being of sound mind do this day make my last will and testament, to wit, will and bequeath to Mrs., Abbee Johnson (my sister), a tract or parcel of land bounded as follows: on the south by Emma Hudson, on the north by Rufus or Russ Trinrz?, East by LTPC, H. L. and S. E. RR , west by William Cartwright. The above said property I will and bequeath to said Abbee Johnson during the remainder of her life, the rent on said property to be collected annually and appropriated to her wants. At the death of said Abbee Johnson, the above described property is hencly conveyed to James Johnson's heirs by first wife to wit: Alfred Rush, Mollie Patsey and Asie? being deceased after the said-Johnson by his first wife. Also all my household furniture in like manner will and bequeath to the aforesaid Mrs. Abbie Johnson and at her death be equally divided between the above described heirs of the said James Johnson. Several lots of plats of land situated in the village of Goodlettsville of the State of Tennessee and of the County of the boundary lined are as follows: lot no. 1 bounded on North by B. G. Myers, on the west by the Estates of Robert Cartwright and Dr. E. Mathes, on the south by Patton Roscoe on the east by Louisville P. Lot number 2, bounded on the east by St. L and S. E. RR South by Robert Tunez, west by a lot belonging to the estate of Robert Cartwright on North by Long Hollow Pike. Lot number 3 bounded on the north south and east by Dr. Burns, west by L. Pike. Lot number 4, now occupied by Tac Roscoe and George Grizzard both old? bounded as follows; on south by Patton Roscoe, east by same, north by Long Hollow Pike west by St. L and S. E. RR. All of the above described lots situated in the said Goodlettsville be sold. Also my horses consisting of one bay horse mane sorrel, one dark bay colt, one bay horse now at John Grizzard, also three head of cattle of cattle now at my brother William Grizzard's all they bring ____ twenty nine dollars to be divided with said bro. William Grizzard. I will and bequeath to Sohpa Regan daughter of John Watson of the Western District of Tennessee, said Sopha being a micufony?? wife, five hundred dollars. Also will and bequeath to Molly Johnson, daughter of James Johnson my gold watch, also what silver money she had in her possession belonging to me. All of my personal property money and notes except on held against brother William Grizzard, dated about March 1896 he to have benefit of said note, at his death said note to be paid out of his estate to the heirs of said James Johnson, their heirs which have been heretofore described one to be so invested as the executor of this my last will and testament may think best. A paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of H. A. Grizzard was produced in open court for probate and proven thus; J. M. M. Johnson and A. C. Grizzard the subscribing witnesses thereto, being first duly sworn depose and say that they became such at the request and with the presence of the testator and they verily believe he was of sound and disposing mind and memory at the time of executing the same. It is therefore ordered by the court that said paper writing be admitted to record as the last will and testament of H. A. Grizzard, deceased.
