First after my funeral expenses are paid I wish my wife Betsy to have a good and comfortable support out of my estate during her natural life. I will and bequeath to William M. Harwood and Sally his wife Eleven hundred and fifth dollars as their full share of my estate in an obligation which William M. Harwood gave to account for fifteen hundred dollars in consideration of the land where he now lives having the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars to be paid to the other heirs by him. The balance of my estate which I may have at my death I wish to be equally divided between the balance of my children without reference to what they have heretofore received and that Elizabeth Carter have the or ten acres of land whereon she now lives. I nominate and appoint Edmund Grizzard, James Grizzard, Zachariah Noell, Jesse W. Grizzard and Jack R.
