Grizzard Davidson County, TN, Minute Book II, page 605 Knowing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death and not wishing to die intestate, I hereby make my last will and testament. First - I desire that all my debts be paid and I hereby empower my Executor to sell the following piece of property, or such a part of them as may be necessary, for that purpose; No. 5 Academy Street - I20 feet- No. 5 North Meridian St. A house and lot in Goodlettsville adjoining the Presbyterian parsonage, vacant lot at Edgefield Junction known as Owen lot, and also 4/5 undivided interest in 50 acres lying on Manskers and Madison Creeks in Sumner County. Second - My executors may sell such part of my live stock and other farm produocts as they may see fit, except my driving horse Beauty to go to my wife and my driving horse Jack and Nelly coly to go to my young daughter Mabel. I hare advanced certain amounts to my children as hereinafter set out. Mrs. Bernice Cotton $300.00 R. W. Grizzard, Jr. $2200.00 Hinton Earl Grizzard $1600.00 Allen Grizzard $1000.00 Ewing Grizzard $100.00 Mabel Grizzard $100.00 After making all of the others equal with my son R. W. Grizzard Jr. I desire that the remainder shall be equally divided between my wife Anna F. Grizzard and my six children above named. Said Division not to be made until my youngest daughter Mabel arrives at the age of twenty one years. I hereby appoint my sons R. W. Grizzard jr., Hinton Earl Grizzard, and Allen Grizzard my executors to carry out the provisions of the will without bond. Written and signed this 6th day of June 1908 R. W. Grizzard
