Key do this 18th day of January in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and twenty make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner and form following viz. lst I appoint John Alford senr and Henry Crutchlow my executors. 2nd I desire that all my just debts be paid soon as practicable. 3rd all my estate personal and real I desire to remain together during the widowhood of my beloved wife Elizabeth and for her to have a comfortable support. 4th Whereas my daughter Nancy are married to Nicholas Walker, and my daughter Elizabeth to Lee Alford, did receive certain property and household furniture from me. It is my desire that my Daughter Sally when she marries or becomes of age for her to receive from my estate the like property and household furniture. 5th my son Tandy has receive=from me one horse and saddle Two cows. one bed and furniture. It is my desire that my son John and Martin when they marry or become of age should receive from my estate the same or the value thereof in some other property except a horse and saddle my son John has received from me. 6th after the decease of my beloved wife Elizabeth it is my desire that all my estate personal and real should be set up and sold to the highest bidder and the money equal=divided among the children by my aforesaid executors. Davidson County Court October Sessions 1820 The last will and Testament of William W. Key deceased being exhibited in court for probate was proven this "George W. Alford and Nancy N. Alford two of the Subscribing Witness's being duly sworn say they became such in the presence of the Testator and at his request and that they believe he was in his right mind at the time he executed the same. Ordered that said will and probate be recorded. And thereupon Henry Crutchlow one of the executors named in said Will in open Court here renounces acting as such
