It is identified as "New Pleasant Ridge Church" on the U.S.G.S. Holladay quadrangle (1987). The cemetery was created after during World War II and is well maintained. David Donahue recorded this cemetery December 28, 1996. Blanche Tuten and Margarett Alexander recorded of this cemetery on April 28, 1978. Their record appears in "Decatur County, Tennessee Cemetery Records" published by the Captain Nathaniel A. Wesson Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Parsons, Tennessee, 1984, pp. 160- 161.
