Lawrence Daughter of Dutton Hill do hereby give transfer and convey to her a tract of Land in Decatur County Tennessee District No 12 containing by Estimation one hundred acres more or less and bounded as follows Beginning 23 poles north of the north west corner of Entry in the name of Joseph Harris Runs East 78 poles to the East Boundry line of the Same 5 poles South of the South west corner of an Entry in the name of D Hill runs north 5 poles to a corner of the Same thence East 190 poles to an Entry in the name of W H Storm thence north with said line 58 poles thence west 190 poles to the South East corner of an Entry in the name of Wade Hale thence west with Said line 78 poles to the East Boundry line of an Entry in the name of Joseph Harris thence with the Said line 58 poles to the beginning to have and to hold the Same to the Said Susan A Lawrence and her boddily heirs forever I Covenant and agree for my Self and heirs to warrant and defend the title to the Said land to the Said Susan A Lawrence and her bodily heirs forever against the Lawful claims of all persons whatever this November the 4th 1871 J H Thomas Dutton Hill (Seal) Wm G Lawrence p. 426 State of Tennessee } Personally appeared before me John McMillan Clerk of Decatur County } of the county court of Said county Dutton Hill the bargainer with whom I am personally acquainted who acknowledged the Execution of the foregoing Deed to be his act Given under my hand at office on this 17th day of January 1872 John McMillan Clk State of Tennessee } Registers office February 6th 1872 at 1 oclock P M Decatur County } then was the foregoing Deed was the foregoing deed duly Recorded in Record book no 6 on page 425 &6 noted in note Book D on page 46 and was Stamped as the law Directs Wm Pratt R D C
