Beginning at the north East corner of an entry in the name of William Moore for three hundred and twenty three acres thence South 56 poles to a chestnut and Beech thence West 76 poles to a hickory thence South 64 poles to a Sourwood and Beech pointers thence west 40 poles to a dogwood thence South with the meanderings of Cane Creek to the cross fence the conditional line Between D Hale and G W Lawrence thence East Course to the cross fence to a Beech the conditional corner between D Hill and W G Lawrence thence north to a poplar and Beech pointers thence East to the East boundary line of the Same thence north with Said line to the conditional line between D Hill and S W Riggs thence west with Said line to its corner thence north to the north East corner of an Entry in the name of D Hill to a white oak thence west 25 poles to a hickory thence South 8 poles to the conditional corner between D Hill and Thomas Morgan thence west to the beginning to have and to hold the Same to the Said Bedy P Dodd and her bodily heirs forever I covenant and agree for my self and heirs to warrant and defend the title to the Said lands to the Said Bedy P Dodd and her bodily heirs forever against the Lawful claims of all persons whatever this November 16th 1871 W W Evans Dutton Hill (Seal) J H Dodd State of Tennessee } Personally appeared before me John McMillan Clerk of Decatur County } the Court of Said county Dutton Hill the Bargainer with whom I am personally acquainted who acknowledged the Execution of the foregoing deed to be his act and deed for the purposes therein contained on the day it bears date Given under my hand at office on this 17th day of January 1872 John McMillan Clk State of Tennessee } Registers office February the 6th 1872 at 2 oclock P M then was the foregoing deed duly Recorded in Record Book no 6 on pages 426 & 7 noted in note Book D on page 46 and was Stamped as the law Directs Wm Pratt R D C
