Dutton Hill to Rosanna Somersett
State of Tenn } Know all men by these presents that I Dutton Hill have 
this Decatur County} day bargained and Sold and do here By transfer and 
Convey to Rozanna Somerset and her heirs for ever for the Consideration 
of Six Hundred dollars to me paid a certain Tract of Land in the State 
of Tennessee Decatur County District No 12 in Range 7 and Section 11 and 
on the Waters of Cub Creek containing by Survey Three hundred and Twenty 
acres be the Same more or less and bounded as follows to wit  Beginning 
at the South East corner of a Two hundred acre tract in the name of Effy 
Harris Runs West 200 poles to a Stake and Beech pointers Thence North 212 
poles to a chestnut tree and pointers then west 80 poles to a Gum tree and 
pointers Thence South 40 poles to the Beginning to have and to hold the 
Same to Said Rozanna Somersett her heirs and assigns for Ever  I do 
Covenant with the Said Rozanna Somersett that I am lawfully Seized of 
Said Land and have a good right to Convey the Same and that the Same is 
unimcumbered I do furthermore bind myself my heirs & lawfull 
Representatives to warrant and forever defend Said title and Ever part 
thereof to the Said Rozeanna Somersett her heirs assigns & lawfull 
Representatives against the Lawfull Claims of all persons what Ever this
March 2d 1868

Decatur County     }  Roberts D Clerk of the County Court of Said County 
Dutton Hill with whom I am personally acquainted and acknowledged the 
within Deed to be his act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned on 
the day it bares date given under my hand at office March the 2d 1868
