Allen I, Dutton Hill have this day bargained and Sold and do hereby Transfer and convey to W.M. Allen and his heirs and assigns forever for the Consideration of four hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand paid the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged a certain tract or parcel of land in the State of Tennessee County of Decatur in civil District No 12 Bounded as follows Beginning on the North line at the little creek of an Entry in the name of Susan Lawrence heirs thence North with the creek to a Sarist bush at the ditch South East corner of an entry in the name of E.D. Bostick thence west with the ditch and blazes to the East Boundary line of an Entry in the name of Jonathan Lastor Still west with the old Road to the ditch thence South with the little creek to a Stake at the Broadies ferry Road thence East to the west Boundary line of an Entry in the name of Susan Lawrence thence Running North with Said line 25 poles of Said Entry thence East to the beginning one hundred acres more or less. To have and to hold the Same to the Said W. M. Allen and his heirs and assigns forever I do covenant with the Said W.M. Allen that I am lawfully Seized of said Land and have a good Right to convey it and that the Same is unemcumbered I do further Covenant bind my Self my heirs and Representatives to warrant and further defend the title to Said Land and every part thereof to Said W.M. Allen his heirs and assigns against the lawful Claims of all persons whatever this the 1st day of February 1882 Dutton Hill Test James W. Hill R.M.
