Graves State of Tennessee} I Dutton Hill have this day Bargained and Sold and do Decatur County } hereby Transfer and Convey to James M. Graves and his heirs forever for the consideration of twenty five Dollars to me paid in hand the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged a certain tract of land in the State of Tennessee Decatur County District No. 12 Containing by Estimation Six and one third 6 1/3 acres and bounded as follows Beginning at a post oak the South East Corner of an Entry in the name of Wade Hale runs East 32 poles to a Stake thence North 32 Poles to a Stake thence west 32 poles to a Stake in the East Boundary line of Wade Hale thence South with the Said line 32 poles to the begining to have and to hold the Same to the Said James M. Graves his heirs and assigns forever I do Covenant with the Said James M. Graves that I am lawfully Possessed of Said land and have a good right to convey it and that the Same is unencumbered I do further Covenant and bind myself my heirs and Representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to the Said land and Every Part thereof to the Said James M. Graves his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whatever given under my hand and Seal this the 12th day of January 1881 Witness W.G. Riggs Dutton Hill (Seal) James W. Hill State of Tennessee} Personally appeared before me John McMillan Clerk of Decatur County } the County Court at Said County W.G. Riggs and James W. Hill Subscribing Witnesses to the within Deed who having been first sworn deposed and Said that they are acquainted with Dutton Hill the bargainer and that he Executed the Same in their presence to be his act and Deed upon the day it bears date Witness my hand at office this the 16th day of April 1881 John McMillan Clerk State of Tennessee} Registers office March the 8th 1884 Decatur County } I B.R.
