Oneal This Indenture or quit claim made and Entered into this 2nd day of February 1854 between Isaac Lasiter Jesse Moody & Jemimah Moody his wife formerly Jemimah Lasiter and Elias Lasiter heirs of James Lasiter and Sarah Lasiter of the first part and Wiley J. Oneal of the other part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the Sum of Eighty two 80/100 Dollars to us in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have this day bargained Sold Conveyed and quit Claimed and relisced all our right title Claim and Interest that we have or may have in and to a Certain tract or parcel of Land lying and being in the County of Decatur and State of Tennessee Containing acres it being the Same tract of Land on which the Said Oneal now lives purchased by him from Sarah Lasiter to have and to hold the Same from either of us or our heirs forever and we do hereby quit Claim the Same to the Said Wiley J. Oneal his heirs and assigns forever given under our hands and Seals this the day and date above written In presence of Laster (Seal) Test Jesse x Moody (Seal) Nuton F. Martin Jemimah x Moody (Seal) John L. Oneal William T. Oneal State of Tennessee} This day personally appeared before me Samuel A. Yarbro Decatur County } clerk of the County Court of Said County John L. Oneal and William J. Oneal the subscribing witnesses thereto and after being duly sworn according to Law depose and Say that they are personally acquainted with Isaac Lasiter and Jesse Moody the bargainors and that they saw them Sign Seal or acknowledge the same to be their acts and deeds for the purposes herein Contained and on the day it bears date witness my hand at my office this 14th day of February 1854 Saml A. Parkin Deputy And Jemimah Moody the fem Court having also appeared before me personally and apart from her husband the said Isaac Moody, and acknowledged that she Executed the foregoing deed freely voluntarily and understandingly without the persuasion or Compulsion of her Said husband and for the purposes herein Witness Saml A.
