This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Harris Clark ==================================================================== PULLIAM CEMETERY THE CEMETERY IS LOCATED 4 MILES SOUTH EAST OF THE OLD WILBURN PARKS PLACE, NOW THE JERRY McNABB FARM ON SARDIS DRIVE, A SHORT DISTANCE FROM THE HOUSE. THE LAND WAS OWNED BY JOHN NORMAN PULLIAM, ONE OF THE EARLY SETTLERS OF FAYETTE COUNTY IN 1827. HIS MOTHER, WIFE AND AT LEAST TWO CHILDREN ARE BURIED THERE WITH MARKERS. HE IS THOUGHT TO BURIED HERE WITHOUT A MARKER. THREE OF HIS CHILDREN THAT BECAME PROMINENT CITIZENS OF THE COUNTY WERE: ALFRED, JUNIUS AND JOEL. ALFRED AND JUNIUS WERE DOCTORS WITH ALFRED LIVING ON THE PAYSON MATHEWS PLACE AND JUNIUS LIVING IN WOODLAWN IN LA GRANGE. JOEL BECAME AN ATTORNEY AND LIVED NEAR DR McNIGHT'S PLACE IN SOMERVILLE.
