Tabitha Richey
To} Deed Intrust
James Richey and Others

Know all men by these presents that I Tabitha Richey of the state of
Tennessee and county of Fayette County have and do and the same having
particular love and respect for my beloved children James Richey and
Moses Richey now present, Elizabeth Bartlett, wife of John Bartlett, and
John Richey who are not present, hath and be these prescents doth give
and bequeath unto the above mentioned children all and singular my land
and personal property of every discription to hold and to have the same
secure unto themselves forever in such manner that no marriage contract
can effect in no manner whatever and to be clear from any contract of
matrimony if any such shall be entered into by me the said Tabitha.  In
testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal December 25th
1827.

Jany Term 1837, deed of gift from Tabitha Richey to James Richey, John
Richey and others of her children was this day duly acknowledged in open
court by the said Tabitha Richey and ordered to be so certified for
Registration.

I Jarmon Koonce clerk of the county court of Fayette do certify that the
foregoing probate of a deed of gift of all property from Tabitha Richey
to James Richey, John Richey and others is a true copy from the records
now in my office ......... my hand at office this 14th day of August
1837.
