Thomas TRAVIS (Prob. gs/o John TRAVIS of Baltimore Co./Harford Co. near 
Gunpowder River c1707.) b. 1737 Baltimore Co., Md. d. 5 June 1837 Fentress 
Co., Tenn. @ 100 years of age.  Resided Baltimore Co., Md., 1737-1784.

                1785 Thomas TRAVIS  granted 400 acres Wilkes Co., Ga. (Land
ak "PPP" p. 134 Sec State's Office, Atlanta, copied AEC, B  VC1944) lived 10 
years in Ga. in Wilkes and Washington Cos: 1795 Thomas TRAVIS settled in 
Green Co., Tenn. 4 years:1799 to Overton Co., Tenn. where he has lived 
upwards of 30 years.  (Ref. Md. Claim for Rev. War Service.  Maryland  s 3826
#25478)  Thomas TRAVIS of Fentress Co., Tenn. formed from Overton) served as 
Private in Capt. Standifer's Co., Col. Perryton's Reg. Rev. War.  On Pension
