Nancy Hill
      vs
Jas. Sharps heirs

Thos Finch being called ap-(sic) upon to testify in the above cause depose as 
follows:

That he is acquainted with the brothers and sisters of Jas Sharp decsd except 
one ["brother" crossed out] sister of the said Jas  with whom he was not 
personally acquainted, but recognized by them all as a Sister.  This Sister 
who married a man by the name of Hays left one child, a daughter, who married 
a Mr. Adams and move(sic) away to parts unknown to this deponent some forty 
six or seven years ago & never has been heard from Since.  I was acquainted 
with Richd Sharp, Robt S. Sharp, Wm Sharp, Polly - intermarried with Abner 
Lasater, Nancy-intermarried with Wm Corn, Peggy - intermarried with Ferrell.

Richard Sharp had the following children, viz:

   Polly who intermarried with James M. Hill,

   Nancy, intermarried with Ed B. Hill,

   Jesse Sharp,

   Jemmima, intermarried with Dr. Wm Estill,

   Elizabeth, intermarried with Jas H. Estill,

   Amelia A., intermarried with Thos Weaver,

   Jas Sharp, who is dead and left two children to wit Richd E & Jas W. Sharp,

   Julia Jane, who intermarried with Robt Hancock,

   Richd S. Sharp, who died leaving the following three children (to wit)
      Jas R, Elizabeth C., and Geo Wm Sharp, all of whom are supposed to be 
   dead, &

   Geo W. Sharp.

Robt S. Sharp is yet living and a lunatic.

Wm Sharp is dead & left several children, but deponent knew but one, Wm H. 
Sharp.

Robt S. Sharp (lunatic) had the following children:

   Jennie, who married C. H. P. Duncan, both of whom are dead, who left two 
   children, viz., Elizabeth, who married Wm B. Clements, & Wm Duncan.

   Wm W. Sharp, who is dead & left a widow and the following named children:

      Edna, Dicy, Robt Thomas, Mary, George C., Sarah E., & Wm W.

Elizabeth J. Cromwell, who is supposed to be living,

Mary A. Embry, who is living,

Jesse M. Sharp, "   "    "  , &

Susan F. Sharp, "   "    "  .

Abner Lasater & wife are both dead, they had three children, Jas & Robert & a 
daughter, name not known.  Robert is living, the other two not known to 
deponent whether dead or alive.

Wm Corn & wife are both dead & had the following named children:

   Saml (and) Richard S. Corn, who are living,

   James Corn, who is dead & left several children, names unknown,

   Wm Corn, who is also dead & left several names (sic) unknown,

   Jno W. Corn, who is dead & who left the following children:

      William J., Joel M., Benjm, Martha, Mary, Ella /E, Judson,
      Jemima, & Charley, & his widow Eliza Corn

   Jemima, who intermarried with Cannon Moore, both dead, & left several 
   children, from information their names are as follows:

      Wm, Geo, Nancy, & Mary.

   F. M. & Peyton S. Corn, both of whom are dead.

(blank) Ferrell & wife Peggy are both dead & left the following children known 
to deponent (viz):

   Charles & Robert, there were several other children, but names unknown.

[Note: The following begins a recapitulation of the children of Richard Sharp 
and their descendents.]

Jas M. Hill & wife Polly are both dead, who left the following children (viz):

   William, Richard S., Jesse, George, Amelia A. who married Thos H. Finch,
   and Nancy Hill.

Nancy Hill, who married Ed B. Hill is still living as deponent believes.

Jemima, who married Dr. Wm Estill, is dead who left five children, viz:

   Mary, who is dead leaving no heirs,

   Ann W. who intermarried H. F. Carr dead & left two children living 
   Meriwether & Maggie Carr.

   Elizabeth, who intermarried with C. P. Cochren, who is living,

   Fannie, who intermarried with Geo W. Warner, yet living. Since died.

   Jo. C. Estill, who also living, &

   Rufus Estill, who is dead.

   [Note: Actually, six children of Jemima and Dr. Wm Estill are listed.]

Elizabeth, who intermarried with Jas H. Estill, is dead, who left the 
following children now living, viz.:

   Margaret, who married H. March,

   Jemima, who intermarried with J. H. Deckerd,

   Lizzie, who intermarried with Dr. H. L. Turny, and

   Wm Estill.

Amelia Weaver, who intermarried with Thos Weaver is dead left the following 
living children:

   Lucy E., Emily J., James R, John G., & Robert H. Weaver.
