Cobble to Hop Robinson Naming Heirs of Mathew Robinson of Franklin Co., TN Franklin Co., TN Deed Book 16, pages 574-575 For and in consideration of the Sum of $100.00 Dollars to me in hand paid, I have this day bargained and Sold, and do hereby transfer and convey unto Hop Robinson, one half interest in a certain tract or parcel of land in the State of Tennessee and County of Franklin & in Civil District No. 2 and bounded as follows ("viz") Beginning at a white oak on Joiners old Mill Race thence to a Hickory, thence East to a white oak Thence East and North to Joseph Franklin's line and back to the Beginning West for compliment. Said half interest formerly belonged to the following persons as heirs of Mathew Robinson Dec'd and having purchased their Several interests, I have a good right to convey the Same. The names of the heirs are (viz) John Robinson, Nancey Painter, Betsey Cook, James Robinson & Martha Honey, with all the appurtenances, to have and to hold the Same to the Said Hop Robinson his heirs and assigns forever. I do covenant with the Said Hop Robinson that I am lawfully Seized of Said land and have a good right to convey the Same. I further covenant with the Said Hop Robinson that the Said land is unincumbered, and I bind myself my heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to Said land and every part thereof to the Said Hop Robinson his heirs and Assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever. Cobble the within named bargainor with whom I am personally acquainted and acknowledged that he executed the within deed for the purposes therein contained.
