Green, Florence Cassidy, age 84 of Winchester, Tennessee died Sunday, October 
10, 2004 at Lynchburg Nursing Home. Florence, who was born in Bayonne, N.J., 
served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked as an administrative 
assistance, last employed by the U.S. Government. Survivor's include a son Bill 
Green of Winchester; daughters, Kathy Knapper of Belvidere, Pattie Green of 
Winchester, Margaret Ward of Roswell, Ga., Michelle Pittman of Duluth, Ga; and 
Liz Venables of Monte Vista, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren. Service was Thursday, October 14, 2004 at 10 a.m. at the Good 
Shepherd Church with Father Dexter Brewer officiating. Interment was in the 
Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in charge 
of arrangements, 967-2222.
