Obituary - George Clinton JONES
The Tullahoma News, 7 Sep 2000
  George Clinton JONES, 86, of Winchester, died Tuesday, Sept 5, 2000 at Medical
Center of Manchester.  A Franklin County native, he was a retired combustion
engineer in Chattanooga and member of Faith Freewill Baptist Church.  He was
preceeded in death by his wife Lillian Shepard JONES, and parents, William
Andrew and Emma Shelton JONES.  Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law,
Frances and Doyle Kernea, Pelham, Ala; sister, Ruby Young, Nashville; two
grandsons, Raymond and David Kernea, all of Atlanta, GA; several nieces and
nephews.  Services will be held at 11am today, Sept 8, 2000 at Manchester
Funeral Home with burial at Mt. Garner Cemetery in Franklin County.  Manchester
Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
