M. TUNE State of Tennessee Franklin County, Jany 10th 1860 I, D. M. Tune, being of sound mind and memory do this day make this my last will and Testament in view of my demise..1st I commend my Soul to God who gave it and my body to the earth whence I came..2nd I will that all my Debts and funeral expenses be paid out of the means in my possession 3rd I will that all my personal and real estate be paid out of the means in my possession 3rd(sic) I will that all my personal and real estate be sold with the exception of a sufficient amount of my personal property as may be deemed sufficient for the protection of my beloved Wife Elizabeth Tune 4th I Will and bequeath to my beloved wife Elizabeth Tune two thirds of my estate to be appropriated to her benefit as may be considered best and one third to my Daughter Sarah 5th I choose John H. Holt Executor and Elizabeth Tune Executrix of this my last will and Testament and that they take charge of all my effects immediately after my Death. D. M. Tune Test Lavan Jones Wm. B. He was born in Halifax, Virginia circa 1806. His parents were William and Lurana Scurlock Tune. Demarcus Tune signed the inventory to his father's estate in Halifax, Virginia in February 1832. He lived in Bedford County as early as 1835. He was noted as being the guardian of David T. Tune in Bedford County in 1844.
