Where it meets the bypass at Idlewild, go left. This road crosses railroad tracks and then parallels them. Parallel to the tracks on the left, there is a road you can turn on to. Go down this road past Idlewild Church, Pounds Cemetery, and a sharp curve to the left. After going down this sharp left curve, there is a road on the left at a right curve. Take this road. Down the road on the right is where the Akin Cemetery was. This cemetery is no longer in existence. It was on the land owned by G.A. (possibly George A.) Akin in the late 1800s. Once said to be very large with possible over 30 tombstones, the land is now under cultivation. It is possible that George and his wife are buried here as well as other Akin family members.
