Location: About a 100 yards behind Eddie Dale Balentine's house in a grove  of
trees. Eddie Dale Balentine lives at: 908 Old Dyersburg Road, Dyer,  TN  38330
908 Old Dyersburg Road is West of  Yorkville,  TN  near  Currie  community  in
Gibson County.

There is no road to it. I had to walk thru the fields to get to  it  and  read
these markers.

Those buried there:
 
1.  Davis Balentine  b. ?, ?, 1826  d. 8-11-1865
    {He is great grand father of Eddie Dale Balentine}
 
2.  Mary A. Balentine  b. ?,?, 1828  d. 9-10-1876
    {she's great grandmother of Eddie Dale Balentine}
 
3.  M. A. Balentine  b. ?   d. ? {unreadable dates}
 
4.  Martha Balentine   b. August ?, 1849? d. 1-7-1860
 
5.  Martha? C. Balentine  b. 12-28-1852  d. 1-4-1890
 
6 & 7.......... Found 2 other unreadable  stones  and  Eddie  says  there  are
others buried in the ruble and one set of twins that  died  at  birth.  Eddie
says there is only one person that is not a Balentine that is buried there, a
young girl who died as her parents were  temporarily  passing  thru.  They had no
money and the cemetery plot was donated.
