Located on Milan Experiment station, highway 79, 2 miles north of city of 
Milan, Gibson County Tennessee. The cemetery is fenced and has a gate with a 
sign "Yancey Cemetery - 1834". Some of the marble stones are broken, but all 
are readable.  There may be other unmarked graves, or stones that have sunken 
into the ground.

YANCEY, Charles L. Died May 24, 1867, age 65 years, 8 months, 7 days.

Martha A. V. Wife of C.L. YANCEY. died Nov 9 1861, age 56 years, 8 months, 
22 days.

YANCEY, James W. Died May 3 1867, age 31 years, 8 months, 3 days.

Jane B. Wife of John H. Yancey. Daughter of Rev J.M. and Martha Hurt
Died July 10, 1870, age 37 years, 1 month, 7 days.

Wm. L. Son of John H. and Jane B. Yancey. Died 1855, age 1 year, 2 months, 
7 days.

Charles A. Son of John H. and Jane B. Yancy. Died July 26, 1870, age 1 year, 
2 months, 5 days.

Henrietta Daughter of John H. and Jane B. Yancy. Died Aug 25, 1862, 
age 11 months, 29 days.
