Gibson County Court, March Term, 1858. This is a renewal of the Guardianship of Nimrod Johnson for the minor children of Francis Nix. NIMROD JOHNSON, Guard. State of Tennessee. Know all men by these presents that we Nimrod Johnson, Cyrus Sharp, and J.P. Sharp of the County of Gibson and State of Tennessee are held and firmly bound unto the State of Tennessee in the sum of Five Thousand dollars in trust for the use of the minor children hereinafter mentioned for the [?] which well and truly to be made we bind ourselves our heirs, executors and administrators with our seal dated this first day of March, 1858. The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above bound N. Johnson this day renews his bond as guardian of Francis Nix minor [children?]. Now if the said N. Johnson shall well and truly secure and improve and make report of all the property of the estate of said minor which have or shall come to his hand possession or knowledge or any other person or persons for him and shall make annual settlement with the clerk of the county court of said county of his account as guardian of minor and shall when they become of lawful age pay over all of said estate and the profits thereof to said minor and in all respects discharge his duty faithfully as guardian then this obligation to be said other witness to remain in full force and [?].
