Charles Wilson to Homestead Registered January 27th 1855

I Charles Wilson of the county of Gibson and State of Tennessee hereby declare it
to be my; purpose and intention to claim the full benefit of the act of the
General Assembly of the State of Tennessee passed February 21st, 1852 exempting
Five hundred dollars worth of land from execution and hereby claim the same out of
the tract of land lying in Gibson County on which I now reside including the
dwelling House outhouse & improved portion of said land. In witness whereof I
hereunto set my hand and affix my seal. This 26th day of January 1855 Charles
Wilson Jon L. Carthal T.J. Carthal

State of Tennesasee Gibson County Personally appeared before me E.W. Raines clerk
of the county court of said county the within named Charles Wilson with whom I am
well acquiainted and who acknowledged that he executed the within for the purposes
herein contained Witness my hand at office this January 26, 1855 E.W. Raines Clk
Filed Jan 26, 1855 at 3 oclock P.M.
