Hays To { Deed Dodie Thomas For a valuable consideration and for the fact that Dodie Thomas has been a faithful servant for my family for years and has cared for my wife and children and always been kind to them and waited on them well at all times, I, T. J. Hays have this day sold and do hereby sell transfer and convey to Dodie Thomas to her sole and separate use, free from the debts liabilities or contracts of any husband she now has or may hereafter have with the power of sale as a feme sole, the following described lot situated in the 7st (7th - there is a strike-over) Civil District of Gibson County Tenn near the East side of the corporation of Trenton Tenn., beginning at the N.E. Corner of R. C. Adams Capps lot and runs thence North 105 feet to a stake on Street; thence West with South side of Street 50 feet to stake; thence South 105 feet to R. C. Adams North boundary line thence East 50 feet to beginning. I covenant I am lawfully seized and posessed (sic) of said lot and have a good right to sell same and it is free from all encumbrances and I will warrant and defend the title to said lot against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever. This lot is deeded in lieu and instead of lot I agreed to deed said Dodie Thomas at N. E. Corner of lot this day deeded to R. C. Admas (sic) she joining in said deed and requesting said exchange. Hays the bargainor with whom I am personally acquainted, and who acknowledged that he executed the within attached instrument for the purposes therein contained.
