Joseph N. Sannum Deed to Nimrod Johnson. Registered Dec 13th, 1851. In consideration of three hundred and fifteen dollars in hand paid, I have this day bargained, sold and do hereby transfer and convey to Nimrod Johnson one hundred acres of land more or less in Civil District No 3, beginning at Josiah Penn’s north west corner thence north one hundred poles to a stake thence east one hundred sixty poles to a stake at S. Hardison’s south east corner thence south one hundred poles to said Penn’s north east corner thence west to the beginning. To have and to hold the same to the said Johnson his heirs and assigns forever I covenant and bind myself my heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to said land and every party thereof to the said Johnson his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons this the 19th day of March 1850.
