Crawford Jordan Samuel Warren & Williams Registered 17 of July, A. D. 1872 We, N. A. Coleman and Ann Eliza Coleman of Gibson County, Tenn, have this day sold unto Jno. Crawford,Jordan Samuel, Warren and Williams and Booth, all of said County and State, as trustees for a collord church or house of worship and their successors in office for and in consideration of the sum of fifteen dollars to us in hand paid, the following described lot of land lying in said County in civil district No. 3 and bounded as follows; Beginning at a stake & pointers seven poles (7) north of the southwest corner of the tract of land on which we now reside, runs thence south 24 poles to a small black oak tree, thence east 13 - 3/10 poles to a stake & pointers, thence south 24 poles to a stake & pointers, thence west 13 - 3/10 poles to the beginning, containing two acres more or less. To have and to hold the said lot of land to the said Jno. Crawford, Jordon Samuel, Warren & Wm. Booth as trustees and their successors in office, we hereby bind ourselves, our heirs to warrant and forever defend the title of the above land against the lawful claims of all persons whatever. Given under our hands & seals this 15 day of April A. D. 1872. N. A. Coleman A. E. Coleman State of Tennessee, Gibson County Personally appeared before me, M. C. Holmes, clerk of the County Court of said County, N. A. Coleman the within named bargainor with whom I am personally acquainted and acknowleded that he executed the attached instrument for the purposes therein expressed. AND A. E. Coleman, wife of N. A. Coleman, having personally appeared before me privately and apart from her said husband, she having been duly informed by me of her rights under the homestead and execution laws of the State of Tennessee, acknowledged the due execution of the annexed deed to have been done by her freely, voluntarily and understandingly, without compulsion or constraint by her said husband, and for the purposes therein expressed and that she relinquished her homestead in the same.
