Mrs. Eliza Bartwell Stratton 1903

The States Graphic  July 10,1903: The people of this community (Brownsville) will
regret to learn of the death of Mrs. Eliza Bartwell Stratton, which occurred at
her home in Humboldt Friday night of last week.  She was 66 years old, and for 45
years was the faithful loving wife of Mr. J.R. Stratton.  She was of noble
parentage, being the great-granddaughter of Sir Thomas Bartwell, of England.  Her
husband and two children survive her and deeply mourn their loss.  Mr.
H.W.Stratton,of Brownsville, is one of the children.
