I William Clement of the County of Gibson and State of Tennessee, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me made at any time heretofore,---First I direct that my Body be decently interred in a manner suitable to my condition in life. And as to such worldly estate as it has pleased God to entrust me with I dispose of in the following manner: Second___I direct that all my debts and Funeral Expenses be paid as soon after my decease as possible out of any Moines that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executors from any portion of my estate real or personal. I give and bequeath to my wife Sarah J. during her natural life, my home tract of land containing about 240, all my house hold and kitchen Furniture. Farming tools and Implements, and my live sock, wagons so far as she thinks she thinks(sic) she needs them. Thirdly___And to my children Caleb R Clement, Benjamin W Clement, Calvin C Clement, Nancy A. Wilson heirs, George B. Clement heirs, Wm H. Clement, Mary Wright, Francis ___ heirs, Simeon S. Clement, Susan S Allen, Anthony M Clements, Edwin B. Clement heirs, Esper Ann Isabella Catherine Wainwright heirs One Dollar each Fourthly__I bequeath to the Heirs of Zachariah Wainwright the proceeds of a due Bill I hold against the said Wainwright for the sum of Four Hundred Dollars bearing date March 23d 1858. To Wm H Clement I give his note which I hold for the sum of one hundred and twelve dollars bearing date Jany 26th 1858... Fifthly __ I direct that the price of land I purchased from Caleb Allen and the same upon which L S. Clements now lives shall as soon as practicable after my decease be sold and the proceeds appropriated by the Executrix as she may prefer . Sixthly I direct that after the death of my wife Sarah J. all property not disposed by this my last will and Testament, such as the Home tract of Land and Such other property as my wife may then be possessed of bequeathed by me to her, be sold and the proceeds divided between all my heirs except Simeon S. Clement and Benjamin W. Clement who from the treatment given me during my illness have forfeited all claims they may have had upon me as a father. Seventhly --I do hereby make ordain and appoint my wife Sarah J, Calvin C. Clement, and William Mathews my Executrix and Executors of this my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I William Clement the said Testator have to this my last will and Testament written on this sheet of Paper, se my hand and seal this the 20th day of July 1866.
